Characteristics:
1. The crown surface of the bits is long cast surface which is
suitable for abrasive formation.
2. The conical surface is shallow, so the bit has good
orientation,good cleaning effect and strong aggressivity.
3. The relatively short gauge length can reduce the torque due to
the contact between the bits and the well wall. The gauge area has
been reduced and contact force of the gauge surface has been
increased. The design can enhance the lateral cutting force of the
bits which helps the control of the well deviation. The gauge
surface is inset by single-row PDC cutters gauge teeth in order to
improve abrasive resistance.
4. The exposed PDC cutter is welded at the bottom of the gauge
surface,which prevents the bit from being sticked when it is
lifted.
